The Love Hypothesis, a debut novel by neuroscientist Ali Hazelwood, took the internet by storm as a must-read STEM romance phenomenon.

The story centers on Olive Smith, a brilliant biology Ph.D. candidate who, unlike her research, doesn’t believe in lasting romantic relationships.
